Building Custom Trophies for Ford

Not only has jewelry been our specialty, but with our knowledge in sculpture we have gained a following of private collectors and corporations that have commissioned us to create one of a kind works of art.

Custom Trophy
Phil Remington Award

One of our most unique and interesting commissions is when we were asked by Ford Motor company to design a custom-built trophy for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The first trophy we made for the event was the Phil Remington award. This award was presented to the best mechanic of the year and named after the legendary motorsports engineer. The trophy is based off an old Ford leaf spring that he fashioned into a useful tool for shaping the body of a race car.

Custom Trophy
Ford GT40 Trophies

The next trophy we were commissioned to do was to create a trophy to commemorate the Le Mans victory of the Ford GT40 between the years of 1966-1969. The trophy was casted in pewter and finish with a mirror like polish then mounted on American Walnut base. Twenty vintage GT40s and the original Le Mans winning cars were driven out to Pebble Beach to receive the award. Henry Ford III and Edsel Ford II signatures were digitized and casted in metal on the base as well. One of the trophy’s is also on display at the Henry Ford museum.

Custom Trophy
Lincoln Centennial Celebration

The most recent trophy was the Lincoln centennial celebration commissioned by Henry Ford III and was given to owners of vintage 1930s Ford Lincolns. The trophies are made out of pewter and included taking a mold of an original Ford Lincoln hood ornament. Then each sculpture was casted and mounted on granite with a American Walnut base.
